There are many ways to support The Ghastling and keep us haunting your bookshelves. The easiest is to purchase a single issue or an annual subscription via our Shop page. Each purchase made via our website has a direct impact, helping us to breathe life into new Ghastlings in our underground lab.

Word of mouth is also crucial for small publishers like us, so if you’ve enjoyed one of our publications, please tell your friends about it. Or, better yet, tell strangers about it by writing a review on Goodreads, Google, Amazon and the like. And if you share a post about us on social media, remember to tag @TheGhastling!

Becoming a Patron

In August 2018, we launched on Patreon. Our growing community of patrons generously pledge a monthly gift to The Ghastling, and receive rewards in return. These rewards range from being included on our Epitaph of Thanks to having monthly writing prompts delivered directly to their inbox. Each patron also gains access to our patron-only feed, which includes author interviews, behind-the-scenes access, early cover reveals and much, much more.

The main purpose of us creating a Patreon page was so we could pay the authors and illustrators of the stories that are so much enjoyed in the magazine. Thanks to our incredible community of patrons, in February 2020 we hit our first goal and became a paying magazine. We’re now setting our sights on our next goals of increasing our print run, creating audiobooks and commissioning more reviews of all things macabre and ghostly.
