Suzanna Komza’s beautiful tarot card plates feature in Book Four. Here is ‘Death’ and ‘The Fool’.
Her Artist Biography:
Suzanna is a Freelance Illustrator living and working in Toronto, where she spends most of her time reading and painting. From an early age, she dreamt of publishing one of her own stories, which she simultaneously illustrates to create a deeper vision of her inner world.
She is fascinated by the past, the strange and the secret self. Because she could never choose one genre to work in (or read in), she tries to go beyond those boundaries by drawing her inspirations from various sources and ever-shifting interests, often blending humour with darkness, levity with symbolism.
She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland, from 2009 to 2015, graduating with a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration. From 2011 to 2012 she spent a year abroad as an Erasmus student at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art et Design a Orleans, France.
Her strongest artistic inspirations are Albrecht Durer and the Polish School of Posters.
