I hope this newsletter finds you well. I would like to let you know that we are open for submissions until midnight on Monday 22nd of June! The theme for this issue is Ghost Stories! Some of you will be aware that I have been running ghost story writing workshops throughout this year and I wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate my favourite genre of all time and devote an entire issue to them! I’m looking for stories that chill my bones. I don’t scare easily so I yearn for that sweet spot of creeping dread and the feeling that I dare not look behind me for what might be there. I’m not keen on ‘comical’ ghost stories unless they are really, really clever. In essence, I want a really good, dark haunting…

I also want to let you know that the last workshop before I take a break for the Summer is taking place on the 21st of June 4-6pm BST. As this is the Solstice weekend, I will be exploring writing folklore and the ghosts of midsummer. Link to book is HERE
